Laughter Yoga

Ignite your joyous spirit and embrace your fun-loving self in a Laughter Yoga session with Janet Whitfield from Abundant Laughter. She will guide you through some activities involving playful laughter games, hand clapping chants and the deep breathing exercises from yoga. The gentle movements will reduce tension from your body and the social interaction will boost your mood. The group laughter is positively contagious, leaving you feeling uplifted and energized! All abilities welcome - participation is done seated or standing, no yoga postures involved. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a water bottle.

Janet is an internationally certified Laughter Yoga leader and teacher with a professional background in community recreation and health promotion. As the Founder of Abundant Laughter, Janet facilitates professional wellbeing and team-building workshops for community organizations and corporate businesses. Serving as the Chairperson of Laugh WA Inc., Janet volunteers to lead the Laughter Yoga movement in Western Australia through laughter clubs, leader training courses, and special events. An experienced Women’s Circle facilitator, Janet is dedicated to personal self-development and has a passion for igniting joy in others and connecting communities through fun and play.
